Range Hours:  

Monday - Saturday 10am to 7pm 

Sunday 10am to 6pm

Our training cadre is working diligently to get you the training you want and the training you need.  California has thrown some hurdles in the way of the CCW Permitting process via SB2 (https://crpa.org/news/).  On the training side, the state is no longer accepting NRA or USCCA Trained instructors.  All of our instructors are NRA certified.   

ALL of our non-POST instructors have already received additional training and have applied to be certified by the State.  As our instructors are certified, we will be making notations on the CCW qualifying courses so that you can receive credit for your training (if needed).  We do not know how long it will take for the State to certify our instructors.

We apologize for any inconvenience, we are working through the demands of the State as efficiently as we can.

Your Ultimate Membership code is your last name and a 4-6 digit number.  Example:  name12345.  This code is the one provided by our Membership Coordinator at the successful enrollment of your Ultimate Membership. (It is not the number printed on your Membership Card).

Your Membership Code is entered in the Promo Code box at the top of the class registration page.

If you have a membership, but do not remember your code or your code does not appear to be working, prior to signing up for a class, please email: Registration@downrangechico.com 

If you choose to sign up without your promo code, any over payment will be turned into credit on your store account and will be available for any in store purchases. 

If you find you cannot attend a class you paid for, and would like to attend it at a different time, do not pay for a new class set for the desired date/time.  Please email Registration and provide the original class date/time and the desired date/time and we will get you rescheduled.  (Must have at least 24 hours notice)

If you pay for a second/duplicate class instead of emailing Registration to be rescheduled, the refund or over payment will be turned into credit on your store account and will be available for any in store purchases.

LEGAL UPDATE

2024 CCW Changes

Due to Governor Newsom signing into Law SB2; beginning January 1,  2024, CCW training requirement hours will be increased. 

The training for the Initial CCW will increase from 8 hours, to 16 hours. 

The CCW Renewal training will increase from 4 hours to 8 hours.

The standard 8hr CCW course will fulfill the requirements for a CCW Renewal, as well as provide 8 of the required 16 hours for an Initial CCW.  The remaining 8 hours required for the Initial CCW can be fulfilled by completing any combination of the below listed classes to total 8 hours.
