Course Description:

 This 2-hour draw from the holster course picks up where the initial classroom lecture and classroom / force options simulator workshop (401) left off. During this section of the basic draw from the holster, we will begin with a brief review of the first course and we will continue to focus on and improve on the basic 5 count draw from the holster techniques.

 Class 404, utilizes the live fire training simulator on the firearms range.  All drawing from the holster is done in a safe, controlled manner under direct supervision of certified firearms instructors.  Students will need to bring their own firearm, ammunition, and a strong side holster, worn on the belt. There is no need for concealment during this course. No cross-draw or small of the back holsters will be permitted.  Ammunition is available for purchase in the store. There is no prerequisite for this class, however the 100 series, 200 series, 300 series and class 401/402 is recommended. A good working knowledge of handguns is a requirement.

 Course Objectives:

The objective of this course is to practice and improve on the 5-count draw in a safe, controlled environment under the direct supervision of a certified firearms instructor. By the end of this course, the student should have a basic understanding and proficiency in safely drawing a pistol from a strong side holster.
